Flying Other Brothers at Abbey Road Studios
On June 18, 2001, members of the Flying Other Brothers along with Stacy Parrish convened at Abbey Road Studios in London, U.K. to lay down some tracks for the upcoming CD, 52 Week High. Using Studio #2, which includes many of the original Beatles recording microphones and keyboards (including the "Lady Madonna" piano, played by Ann), the FOBs recorded several overdubs for the album and were given a tour of the place, including the infamous canteen where the Fab Four would retire for serious smoking between sessions, and the gold-inlaid mixing board for Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon. A splendid time was guaranteed for all!
Check out NEWEST CD, San Francisco Sounds (featuring original songs recorded during 2004). The band's line-up now includes Pete Sears on keyboards, Barry Sless on lead guitar/pedal steel guitar, and Jimmy Sanchez on drums. Produced by the Flying Other Brothers and Stacy Parrish.
Check out our older CD, 52-Week High (featuring original songs recorded during 2002 at Sy Klopps Studio and Hyde St. Studio in San Francisco, and EMI's Abbey Road Studio in London). Guest stars include Pete Sears on keyboards and Jack Casady on bass. Produced by Jack Casady and Stacy Parrish.
